God Seeks You

Some things are just laws, one of which is: spirits cannot directly influence the natural realm but require earthen vessels to execute their assignments. “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men” – Psa. 115:16. When Satan plotted to kill Jesus, the scriptures record: “Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve” – Lk. 22:3.

God is Spirit (John 4:24), and even He requires men to carry out His purposes on earth. On this subject, it would not be entirely accurate to say that God does not need man for anything. In Ezekiel 22:30 He said, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it but I found none”. Throughout Scripture, every time the purpose of God was at risk or required establishment, he sought a man— a willing vessel to partner with Him

The earth was on the brink of annihilation, which was never His original design; so He sought a man—Noah. “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” (Gen. 6:8). When a new bloodline needed to be birthed, He found Abraham (Gen. 12:1). That lineage was at risk of extinction due to famine; He found Joseph (Gen. 45:5–8). Again, the lineage was at risk of annihilation due to the decree to kill all male infants; He found Moses (Exo. 9:1). Then the Judges to deliver them from destruction—particularly David, He said, “I have found David my servant” (Psa. 89:20). Down to the prophets, “Before I formed you in the belly I knew thee; I sanctified you a prophet unto the nations” (Jer. 1:5). John The Baptist, sent from God to declare His coming (Jn. 1:6). His coming in flesh, the disciples, He found them and said “Follow me, and I will make you” (Matt. 4:19). To the propagation of the gospel across the continents of the world (Acts 1:8). Till 2000 years after—the move of revival by the patriarchs till this present day… to you. God needs you.

The global economic and environmental heat—“Days that burn like an oven” (Mal. 4:1) is not God’s purpose for the earth but the work of the four horns in Zechariah 1:18-21. “I lifted up my eyes and saw, behold four horns. These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem so that no man did lift up his head”. Today, we have them in government, institutions and corridors of power, making life insufferable for the masses.

But then, God seeks for ‘Carpenters’—men and women who will come to fray them; to cast out the horns of the Gentiles (Zech. 1:21). Not necessarily or limited to prayer warriors like we’ve been taught in ‘the ministry of intercessors,’ but individuals of wisdom, innovation and skill. The word ‘Carpenters’ in Zechariah 1:20 is written in Hebrew as ‘Charashim,’ which directly translates to Craftsmen. This implies individuals who are skilled and equipped to build, create, and shape according to His divine blueprint. The question is, are we well-prepared for His call? Do we possess the wisdom, the skill, and the innovation needed to respond effectively? When a man is needed to respond to the demands of His purposes, would our CV match the JD?
